Pergola & Patio Cover Installer - Orlando
Title of job position:
We are looking to employ a dedicated, hard-working technician to install residential patio covers and pergolas. The technician’s responsibilities include Site Assessment and Preparation, Reading and Interpreting Plans, Material Preparation and Handling, and Utilization of Tools and Equipment. You should also ensure that the company vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
To be successful as an installer of patio covers you should be knowledgeable of operating various hand and power tools and have a good sense of balance. Ultimately, an outstanding Reading and Interpreting Plan: Technicians should be able to safely operate trailers and equipment as well as demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
- Base pay ranges from $16 per hour for technicians to up to $24 per hour for lead technicians.
- Performance-based bonuses are offered for achieving predetermined targets.
- Commissions are provided for deals closed through referrals and sales systems implemented for our technicians.

Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all company equipment is in good working order.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is adequately stocked with supplies at all times.
- Appropriately cleaning up after each job to ensure no residue or dirt is left behind.
- Install posts, beams, and support structures securely, ensuring stability and structural integrity.
- Operate various hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and measuring devices, effectively and safely.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and design specifications.
- Coordinate with team members or supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Communicate any issues, challenges, or additional requirements during the installation process.
- Maintain records of materials used, hours worked, and any additional information relevant to the project.
Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proven experience. (Not Required)
- Sound knowledge of industry-related health and safety regulations.
- The ability to safely operate aerial lifts, scaffolding, and related equipment.
- The ability to work at different heights.
- The ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to drive a trailer.
- Effective communication skills.
