As a Caregiver, you will be able to build meaningful relationships with clients, grow your skill set. Not only will you build meaningful relationships with clients, their families, and team members alike, you will also gain joy in serving others and deep fulfillment in your work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance)
  • Support medical examinations and treatment preparations.
  • Monitor vital signs, conduct urine tests, and assist with blood sample collection.
  • Aid in meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring adequate hydration.
  • Provide meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders and errands/shopping, activities/outings.
  • Answer, direct and/or respond to phone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment.
  • Practice routinely good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare role (preferred)
  • Background in dementia care, residential, or community care settings.
  • Confident administering basic first aid and supporting medication protocols.
  • Physically fit to perform care tasks (including moving and handling)
  • Warm, empathetic communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with domiciliary care practices and complex care requirements.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.


Entry Requirements:

  • Must pass all background screening with satisfactory results.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Ability to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED accepted.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid required.
  • Experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
  • Ability to lift heaving objects.
